Submit your ideas here for improving Lobis in any way. Whether it’s a new bond, setting up a new workstream, or tinkering with governance, all proposals are welcomed here.
You must submit Formal Proposals in the format below, after this tag a mod and they will assign it a LIB number and share it with the community.
Process
All official proposals using the normal governance timeline must be discussed in this section for at least 1 full day from the time of posting before they can be considered to go on Snapshot. If there is significant rework required due to community feedback then this time period will be increased until consensus is reached.
If you think consensus has been reached tag a mod and they will review that all requirements have been met and that the community has had the opportunity to comment. The mod will then move this for off-chain voting using staked LOBI ($sLOBI) on Snapshot.
Snapshot rules:
When published on Snapshot votes will have a 3-hour time delay before they can be started to ensure the community has enough time to be informed.
All votes will be available on Snapshot for voting for 2 days without any exceptions.
Voting will be Quadratic, this is a protection measure so that no one wallet can swing votes dramatically. This means that each voter may spread voting power across any number of choices. The results are then calculated quadratically, you can test out quadratic calculations here and watch this video to understand how it works.
Quorum for all votes is 1000 $sLOBI. This means that at least 1000 sLOBI tokens must participate in voting for the Formal Proposal to pass.

PROPOSAL: Outline exactly what you are requesting from the DAO.
PURPOSE AND VISION: Describe ‘What’ you are trying to achieve and the way you are thinking about it here. Provide the rationale for why this is an important issue to tackle and the medium to long-term vision of the project.
IMPACT: What does this mean for the DAO? How does this benefit the community? How is Lobis DAO better if the proposal gets enacted?
OVERVIEW: Summarise the proposal here, including key goals, requirements, and requests.
SPECIFICATION: Specify the idea in as much detail as possible including things such as:
- Description of the idea
- Data validating your thesis
- Immediate and medium-term actions required
- Resources requests from the DAO (Additional contributors, Tools, etc)
- Financial data and projections (if needed)
ROADMAP AND TIMELINE: Include a suggested roadmap and immediate next steps required for a minimum viable project. Make this as detailed as possible — this is not a project plan, it’s a way to set expectations.
